Whether you’re after a speedy bite on the go, or you’re looking to luxuriate over lunch with a couple of drinks, we’ve got you covered. While our ovens will also be slow roasting whole and half chickens, carved to order, we’ve got plenty of other lighter options for those looking for something different. Our small plates are show stealers in their own right – especially the rotisserie potatoes served with chicken fat mayo, salsa verde, and pecorino – but our salads and sandwiches are where it is at for lunch in Manchester.

While our breakfast menu is fresh and contemporary, The Trading Route is steeped in the history of Manchester’s past. Located on Goods Yard Street in the Enterprise City district, our venue is more than just a place to eat – it’s a nod to Manchester’s rich industrial and cultural heritage. Located a few minutes from Deansgate, and just a stone’s thrown from Manchester International Festival’s new home of AVIVA Studios, we’re open from dawn ‘til dusk, seven days a week.

While you’re with us, you can also pick up the finest provisions from our expertly curated larder of indulgences and sundries. Stocking fine wines (if you’d like to pick up something for a little later in the day) in addition to some of the hardest-to-find cheeses and most exquisite cured meats, it is perfect for taking home a little pick-me-up post breakfast.
